This January transfer market is always a period of feverish rumour and potential big-money deals. Several high-profile players find themselves connected to moves out of their current clubs. Here is a look at a selection of the key figures who might be on the move this month.

Antoine Semenyo

Despite the Black Stars' failure to reach the AFCON, which has kept the forward available, indications are a significant move is close. This Bournemouth attacker possesses a contract featuring a sizeable buy-out clause active for a short window in early January. Recent reports point to Manchester City look to have won the race for his signature. Former suitors like Tottenham and Chelsea reportedly have turned their attention to other options, potentially opening the door for clubs like Liverpool or Manchester United to make a late move.

This English centre-back has continued to impress for Crystal Palace this season a previous transfer to Anfield collapsing.
